The Sharing of Beautiful Things

FRITH Gifts & Homewares in Barwon Heads, was established in January 2003 and has experienced several talented owners who have built on the concept of The Sharing of Beautiful Things with friends and family. Victoria has become the third owner, having purchased it in June 2013 and hasn’t looked back!

The word Frith has two different meanings:

1. The Old English noun Firth, meaning an estuary – where the river meets the sea. This is exactly where FRITH is located – on the west bank of the mouth of the Barwon River which flows into Bass Strait.

2. The Old English Friðu, meaning “peace” or “friend”. According to this derivation, Frith has a great deal to do not only with social relationships but also with stability, calm and sanctuary.

Our store is a place where you can buy beautiful things to decorate your home, your sanctuary, your life .

Barwon Heads is a coastal township on the Bellarine Peninsula, near Geelong, Victoria, Australia about an hour from Melbourne CBD.
